The solution
The solution: No chemicals added, no heat required
A process that conserves the technical performance of the materials and returns them as flowable compounds for re-incorporation in fresh compound.
We are a service company that enables closed loop re-working of crosslinked rubber materials.
Your cured production scrap can be collected, processed, packed and palletised according to your requirements before materials
are shipped back, ready to be blended directly into your fresh compounds.
This allows your own materials to be included back into your production process for significant savings in materials and energy as well as providing a positive impact on the environment.
We ensure full traceability and quality assurance in every part of our process.
Network dissociation
By subjecting the materials to a set of highly stressed regions with patented geometries, controlled crosslink rupture is used to tease apart the network, preferentially cleaving crosslinks and separating the material into a finely divided form;
Compound reconstruction
By subjecting the materials to a different set of stress regions, Compound Mastication (CM) is used to homogenise and join the materials into a unified form that can exit the process as an extruded strip or as a pelletised material.
During the process, care is taken to ensure that the material is exposed to minimum levels of energy and that temperatures are maintained below 100° C. This conserves energy and reduces thermal stressing of the material to minimise degradation and maintain performance.
